Terms, policies and service agreements for HOSTSEO customers.
This page brings together the main HOSTSEO legal documents that govern our hosting, VPS, dedicated server, email, SSL, VPN and managed service relationships. Please review these agreements before placing an order, renewing a service or submitting a policy-related request.
Clear service rules for HOSTSEO hosting, servers, and customer accounts.
HOSTSEO’s legal documents explain how services may be used, how billing and refunds are handled, how customer data is treated, and how abuse or copyright complaints should be submitted.
Every key agreement is organized on this page so customers can review practical responsibilities, service protections, and account conditions without moving between multiple policy pages.

Terms of Service
The Terms of Service explain how HOSTSEO services are ordered, renewed, supported, suspended, cancelled and managed. They also cover customer responsibilities, billing, refunds, service limits and account conduct.
Our responsibilities
HOSTSEO provides paid hosting, server and related services to customers who comply with the Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy.
We may refuse service, suspend an account or terminate a service when an account is used in a way that violates our policies, affects network stability, creates legal risk or harms other customers.
HOSTSEO remains the final decision maker when determining whether an activity violates these service rules.
Policy changes
These terms and related policies may be updated when service requirements, operational needs, market conditions or legal obligations change.
A policy update does not create a right to avoid payment for active services or end an agreement early unless HOSTSEO states otherwise in writing.
If a pricing change affects a recurring bill, we aim to communicate the change before the updated billing is applied.
Refunds
Eligible hosting services may qualify for a limited refund within 25 days of the first service registration by a new customer.
Refunds apply only to the hosting service plan itself. Domain registration, SSL certificates, licenses, setup fees, add-ons, third-party services and custom work are not included unless specifically stated.
Repeat orders, additional accounts, previously cancelled-and-reordered services, policy violations, abuse-related suspensions and terminated services are not eligible for refund.
Disrespectful, abusive or threatening communication with support, sales, billing or administration may void refund eligibility.
Suspension and termination
Services may be suspended when a policy violation, abuse report, overdue invoice, security issue or harmful activity is identified.
Where appropriate, HOSTSEO may allow time for correction. Serious, repeated or unresolved violations may lead to termination without refund.
Resellers and administrators are responsible for the activity of their end users. Root or parent accounts may be treated differently from individual end-user accounts depending on the incident.
Billing and late payment
Invoices are normally generated before the service due date. Customers are responsible for arranging payment before renewal.
Cancellation requests should be submitted before the renewal or overdue period to avoid continued billing.
Overdue invoices may be subject to late fees, suspension and eventual termination. Services connected with an invoice may be removed after extended non-payment.
Fraud, disputes and chargebacks
Fraudulent orders, false account information and unauthorized payment activity may result in immediate suspension or termination.
Payment disputes or chargebacks submitted without proper communication may lead to service suspension, investigation fees or further account action.
HOSTSEO may submit available account and transaction information to payment providers, banks or authorities when required for fraud investigation.
Support scope
HOSTSEO provides support for service availability, hosting account access, server-side issues and the default installation or managed components included with a plan.
Software configuration, script debugging, third-party application issues and custom development are outside standard support unless included in a managed plan or quoted separately.
Support is provided directly to HOSTSEO customers. We do not normally provide direct support to a customer’s own third-party clients.
Data, backups and migration
Customers should keep their own independent backups. HOSTSEO backup systems are intended for service resilience and emergency recovery, not as a replacement for customer-controlled backups.
Backup availability, restoration scope and frequency may vary by service type. HOSTSEO is not liable for lost data, income, time or business interruption caused by missing, incomplete or damaged backups.
Migration assistance may be offered as a courtesy. Successful transfer depends on the source provider, data format, account condition and technical compatibility.
DMCA, usage and blacklist issues
Use of HOSTSEO services to infringe copyright, trademarks or intellectual property rights is prohibited.
Customers must avoid spam, blacklist-causing activity, malicious scripts, harmful files and actions that damage the reputation or reachability of HOSTSEO networks or IP addresses.
Intentional server abuse, repeated violations or activity that places other customers at risk may result in suspension, termination and administrative fees.
Acceptable Use Policy
The Acceptable Use Policy explains what customers may and may not do while using HOSTSEO hosting, server, email and network services. It protects service stability, security and other customers on the platform.
Purpose of this policy
HOSTSEO aims to provide reliable internet services in a secure, high-availability environment. To protect customers and infrastructure, every account must be used lawfully and responsibly.
This AUP forms part of the hosting agreement. A violation may result in warning, content removal, suspension, termination, fees or further action allowed by the service contract or applicable law.
Customer responsibility
Customers are responsible for the security and activity of their accounts, websites, scripts, servers, email accounts and end users.
Software should be kept updated and patched. Weak passwords, outdated scripts or insecure applications can result in compromise and may lead to service restriction.
HOSTSEO does not accept liability for customer-hosted content unless required by law.
Prohibited activity
HOSTSEO services may not be used for unlawful, abusive, harmful or irresponsible activity.
Prohibited examples include spam, bulk unsolicited email, mail-bombing tools, spam scripts, phishing or fraudulent sites, pirated software, warez, brute-force tools, malware, viruses, Trojans, exploit archives and illegal content.
Users may not host content that promotes illegal activity, harassment, hate, unauthorized access, copyright infringement, trademark infringement or distribution of material without proper rights.
Proxy scripts, anonymizers, unauthorized scans, network attacks, service disruption, packet forgery and attempts to access systems without permission are not allowed.
Email and resource abuse
Customers may not use HOSTSEO services to send unsolicited bulk email or operate systems that facilitate spam.
Accounts may not be used in a way that overloads CPU, memory, disk I/O, network capacity, mail systems or shared hosting resources.
High-risk scripts, compromised CMS installations, abusive cron jobs and excessive processes may be limited, suspended or removed when they affect service quality.
Content and intellectual property
Customers must have the legal right to publish, store, distribute or link to all content hosted through HOSTSEO services.
Copyright, trademark and intellectual property complaints may lead to content removal or service restriction while the matter is reviewed.
Repeated infringement or refusal to cooperate with valid complaints may result in termination.
Security and network integrity
Users must not attempt to probe, scan, exploit, overload, flood or interfere with any HOSTSEO system, third-party network or user account.
Accounts that cause blacklist listings, DDoS exposure, IP reputation damage or network disruption may be suspended or terminated.
HOSTSEO may cooperate with law enforcement when criminal activity is suspected.
Enforcement and refusal of service
HOSTSEO may warn the user, remove offending material, suspend service, terminate service, apply fees or take other reasonable steps to protect the network.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or suspend service at our discretion, particularly where spam, script abuse, repeated policy violations, threats or unreasonable conduct occur.
Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy explains what customer information HOSTSEO collects, how it is used for service delivery and support, and how privacy-related questions can be raised.
Information we collect
When you place an order, submit a support request, contact us or manage a service, HOSTSEO may collect information needed to deliver the requested service.
This may include name, address, email address, phone number, account details, billing information, service details, domain names, IP addresses, support messages and related verification records.
Some information may be required to issue SSL certificates, register domains, process payments, prevent fraud or comply with applicable legal and contractual obligations.
How information is used
We use customer information to process orders, provide hosting services, respond to support messages, manage billing, investigate abuse reports and improve service delivery.
Return email addresses are used to respond to the message received. We do not use those addresses for unrelated purposes without appropriate consent or a valid business reason.
Non-identifying and aggregated data may be used to understand website usage, improve the website and review service demand.
Information sharing
HOSTSEO does not sell customer personal information.
Information may be shared only where necessary to complete a service, process a payment, register a domain, issue a certificate, deliver support, prevent fraud, respond to legal requirements or protect the network.
Third-party service providers are expected to handle information only for the purpose connected with the service they provide.
Retention
Personal information is retained only as long as necessary for the purpose collected, for business records, for contractual performance or where a law or regulation requires a longer period.
Certain verification records connected with SSL certificates, domain names, billing or fraud prevention may be kept for extended periods when required by policy or law.
After the retention period, information may be securely deleted, anonymized or archived in accordance with operational requirements.
Data security
HOSTSEO uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect customer information.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Customers should protect account passwords, use secure devices and avoid sharing sensitive login details in plain text.
Employees and service providers are expected to keep customer information confidential unless disclosure is authorized by policy, contract or law.
Children’s privacy and choices
HOSTSEO does not knowingly collect or maintain information from children under 13, and our website is not directed to children under 13.
Customers may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the instructions provided in those messages.
Where processing is based on consent, customers may contact HOSTSEO to withdraw consent, subject to any contractual, legal or operational obligations.
Privacy contact
Questions about this Privacy Policy, customer data or privacy-related requests should be sent through the appropriate HOSTSEO contact channel or support desk.
DMCA Complaint and Abuse Report
The DMCA and abuse complaint process explains how copyright holders, authorized agents and abuse reporters can submit clear reports for review.
How HOSTSEO reviews complaints
HOSTSEO reviews clear abuse and copyright complaints that contain enough information to identify the reported material, contact the reporting party and assess the request.
Incomplete, unclear or unauthenticated complaints may be returned for correction. Complaints submitted with missing contact information, insufficient URLs or unclear claims may not be processed until the required details are provided.
Submitting a false or misleading complaint may create legal liability. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, you should seek legal advice before submitting a complaint.
Required complaint information
Identify the copyrighted work, trademark, protected material or abusive content in sufficient detail.
Identify each specific URL or location where the allegedly infringing or abusive material appears. General domain-level reports may not be enough for review.
Provide full contact information for the complaining party, including name, organization where applicable, address, email and phone number.
Provide information that allows HOSTSEO to notify the website owner or account holder, if possible.
Required statements and signature
Include a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
Include a statement that the information in the complaint is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner of the relevant right.
Sign the complaint electronically or physically. HOSTSEO may request additional verification for email complaints or legal notices.
Processing and action
When a complaint is accepted for review, HOSTSEO may contact the customer, request clarification, disable access to material, remove content, suspend service or take other appropriate action.
HOSTSEO may also reject complaints that are incomplete, fraudulent, abusive, outside our control or not supported by sufficient evidence.
Repeated copyright or abuse violations may result in account suspension or termination.
Where to send reports
Abuse and policy-related reports should be sent to the HOSTSEO abuse desk through the contact details provided on the website.
Please include all required information in the first message to reduce delays.
Fair Usage Policy
The Fair Usage Policy explains how unlimited or unmetered services should be used fairly, especially on shared hosting and other resource-managed platforms.
Meaning of unlimited and unmetered
Unlimited or unmetered hosting plans are designed for normal website publishing, email, databases and content related to a legitimate website.
These terms do not mean unlimited physical disk, unlimited CPU, unlimited memory, unlimited backup storage or unrestricted use of shared infrastructure.
HOSTSEO may add capacity, adjust allocations or recommend an upgrade where normal website growth requires more resources.
Fair use expectations
Customers may use hosting resources for genuine website content, business pages, blogs, galleries, downloads connected with their website and normal traffic growth.
Resource use must remain compatible with the hosting environment and must not degrade service for other customers.
When a website needs higher sustained CPU, memory, disk I/O, storage or network throughput, HOSTSEO may recommend VPS, VDS, dedicated server or another suitable plan.
Not permitted under shared or unlimited plans
Accounts may not be used as mass file storage, backup storage, archive mirrors, media dumps, public file sharing systems or unrelated download repositories.
Large archives, unrelated videos, audio files, logs, documents or software collections may be restricted where they are not part of a legitimate website.
High-resource portals, mass newsletter systems, FTP/file-sharing services, mirror sites, free hosting networks and resale of personal hosting accounts are not permitted unless the plan expressly allows it.
Illegal and harmful activity
Hosting illegal material, copyrighted content without authorization, pirated software, stolen media, harmful files, malware, phishing pages or other unlawful content is prohibited.
High usage limits do not allow activity that harms the server, other customers, network reputation or service stability.
Review and upgrade path
HOSTSEO may review accounts that create unusual resource patterns, cause performance issues or appear to use hosting primarily as storage rather than a website.
If usage is legitimate but no longer suitable for the current plan, HOSTSEO may suggest a larger hosting package, VPS, VDS or dedicated server.
The purpose of this policy is to keep unlimited hosting fair for genuine website owners while preventing misuse.
Service Level Agreement
The Service Level Agreement explains the uptime commitment, credit process, replacement handling and important exclusions for eligible HOSTSEO services.
Availability commitment
HOSTSEO understands that availability matters. We make reasonable efforts to provide reliable hosting and network services that support business continuity.
The SLA focuses on power, service availability and network uptime for eligible services. Customer software, website code, third-party applications and customer configuration issues are outside the network uptime guarantee.
Power and service availability
HOSTSEO aims to keep power and eligible service infrastructure available 100% of the time in a given month.
Where qualifying downtime occurs under this SLA, the customer may request a service credit according to the published credit rules.
Replacement guarantee
HOSTSEO will take reasonable steps to repair or replace failed eligible hardware or service components after the issue is identified by the HOSTSEO team.
Replacement timing depends on service type, data center conditions, inventory, access and the nature of the failed component.
Network uptime and credits
HOSTSEO’s network uptime guarantee applies to qualifying network downtime within HOSTSEO’s direct control.
When eligible downtime occurs, credits may be calculated as a percentage of the monthly recurring charge, subject to the maximum credit limit and the rules of the SLA.
Credit requests must be submitted through a support ticket to the billing department within the stated request period after the incident.
Exclusions
The SLA does not apply to scheduled maintenance, emergency maintenance, customer software failure, customer misconfiguration, DNS issues outside HOSTSEO’s control, third-party carrier or provider outages, DDoS or attacks, force majeure events, legal restrictions, government action, power or supply issues outside direct control, or false reports from external monitoring tools.
The SLA does not cover data loss, lost revenue, business interruption or indirect damages except where expressly required by law or agreed in writing.
Customer responsibility
Customers are responsible for monitoring their own websites and applications, maintaining backups, updating software and opening support tickets when they need assistance.
Managed and always-on monitoring options may be quoted separately where a customer needs additional operational coverage.
